When I restarted DVD player without the drive it seemed to work, IE no beachball, so I re inserted the annoying disc and this time, it worked. Then I got the beachball dead and when I opened it the player after the force quit I was still this beachball and no further response. ![]() Clicking play gave me the message "the disc supported is not available" (although at this time, he showed as an icon on the desktop.
